Maddie Lewis
Maddie came to university excited about the new adventure of studying Sport and Exercise Science.
In her first week at the University of Surrey, she encountered the Christian Union and attended their events - partly for the free pizza! She got more than she expected because, for the first time in her life, she heard the gospel with an open heart. Eventually, due to her involvement with the CU and being invited to church by a friend, she became a Christian.
During her time at University, Maddie loved serving the CU as the Outreach Coordinator. She loved seeing students come to faith and encouraging others to share the good news of Jesus at University and beyond. She also enjoyed being a small group leader as it gave her the opportunity to walk alongside students and see them grow in their faith.
Maddie continued in the student mission field as a Relay Worker, where she learnt more about the goodness of God, His unfailing grace and how His power is made perfect in her weakness.
Maddie is grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting the University of Surrey and excited for the new challenge of supporting UCA Farnham and UCA Epsom. You can often find Maddie playing sports, engaging in deep conservations with friends and strangers or eating Caesar Salads!
