Bogdan Sfaru

Originally from Romania, I moved to Scotland in 2013 and now live in the glorious city of Edinburgh. I recently graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a BSc (Hons) in Policing and Criminology, and have now stepped into a ministry internship at Bruntsfield Evangelical Church.

It was a real joy serving on Student Council last year, and it is again a delight to continue into the new year.

The CU has been such a vital part of my faith, introducing me to a community of believers who also found immense joy in sharing the message of Jesus Christ across their campus. I don’t believe in coincidences, and I am convinced that God purposefully placed us all in our specific course, campus, and university just close enough to embrace students around us with the only answer to their searching hearts: Jesus.

In fulfilling the command to ‘make disciples of all nations’, CUs across the UK overflow with testimonies of Gods transformative power in our generation, and we have seen this at Napier. It is such a delight to serve alongside others in the Student Council as we pray for and support CUs in spreading the gospel on our campuses.
