Miriam Kartono Ortiz

Originally from Germany, I moved to the UK for my gap year and now get to call beautiful Stirling in Scotland my university home!

Being part of the CU there has been a blessing, equipping and challenging me in how I want to serve and share Jesus. My time on the committee helped me appreciate the different gifts God has given us and how, despite our shortcomings, he graciously chooses to use every member of the body for his kingdom. Meeting other students at Forum widened my view on how God is at work across the UK and amongst the nations.

Through my role on the student council, I hope to support the Scottish CUs as they seek to give every student an opportunity to hear the life-changing Good News about Jesus.
