Dan Luxton

During my time at university in Aberystwyth, I studied Zoology and Livestock Science and was heavily involved with the CU. Looking back now, I can see how God used it in a big way to help me grow in my faith. Part of this was seeing the importance of being active in sharing the gospel and making disciples of all nations (starting right where we were).

I stayed in Aberystwyth and have been working for the last few years in a laboratory. In that time, I’ve had the opportunity to encourage and disciple youth, students and young adults through various church ministries.

I'm excited to shift into supporting the CUs full time to nurture them to have as formative time at university as I had. I hope to be able to highlight the incredible opportunity that students have to reach other students and assist the CUs as they invite others to see that following Christ is reasonable and transformative. Moving to Cardiff will come with opportunities and challenges. I'm looking forward to meeting the students and other staff I'll be working with but please pray that I'll settle into city life and find a church to be part of.

Will you support me and the work of the Christian Unions in Cardiff by praying that God would use the UCCF staff and CU members as effective stewards of the gospel message? Please consider financially supporting me as the work of UCCF depends on the generosity of those who give towards this gospel ministry.
