Andrea Dalton
My years as a student were some of the most significant in my spiritual journey. I arrived at university as a believer, but soon found myself shaken by all sorts of questions and a whole different world to the one I’d left behind. It was the faithful work of both my local church and being part of the CU that really helped me process this, ask my questions and become more convinced not just of what I believed but that I needed to share it with others. The student world is a window like no other in which to do this!
Ever since graduating, I’ve been involved in student work in various ways: as a Relay Worker and Staff Worker in UCCF, though leading student work at church and most recently working in Huddersfield University as Faith & Communities Coordinator.
The opportunity to come back to UCCF and lead the North East team is a wonderful one. I’ll be supervising staff, planning and developing regional training and supporting students, Staff and Relay Workers across the region in their own unique ways and contexts to best give students here the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel! Gospel work is always done best in partnerships; I’d love it if you’d consider standing with me and the students and Staff in the North East in prayer and financially as we look ahead.
