Jonny Warke

I believe mission is central to the Church’s role in the world and I am passionate about being a part of God’s mission and helping others to do the same. After a gap year involved with overseas mission in Thailand and three years at university in Belfast, where I was very involved with the Christian Union, I have seen there are massive opportunities for making the name of Jesus known to students across Great Britain who are questioning life and faith right now!

I am really excited to be working with UCCF as the Staff Worker in Bristol and invest in student mission here. Bristol, an incredibly diverse city, sees around 70,000 students in the two main universities every year. University is a time when many are very open to considering faith and Christian students are best placed to begin those conversations and bring the light and love of Jesus into their universities. I will be supporting, equipping and encouraging students in the Christian Unions as they seek to share the gospel and see revival on their campuses.

I would love it if you would consider partnering with me in this vision by standing alongside me in prayer and financial support as we seek to see the gospel proclaimed and the Kingdom of God evermore realised in Bristol and across Great Britain.
