Bethany Matheson
Bethany is doing Relay in Plymouth, supporting the Christian Unions in Arts University Plymouth and Plymouth University.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.

Hello, my name is Bethany and I have just finished a degree in Physical Geography at the University of Plymouth. I am excited to continue to work the Christian Union at the University of Plymouth and the Arts University Plymouth.
I was blessed to be a part of the CU during my time at university which provided me with a community of Christians and allowed me to see how God was working through me and others in the CU.
As I continue to work with the CUs in Plymouth, I am excited to see how they continue to grow in number and support the members as they continue to reach out to their friends and talk to them about their faith. I am also excited for the opportunity to develop my skills in evangelism, by helping the CU members with the different evangelistic events that they run. During this year I will also learn more about God through studies alongside supporting the CU and grow in my knowledge and faith.
As Relay is a voluntary role, I will be relying on both the prayer and financial support of others throughout the year. I will need to raise all the money to cover my living and ministry expenses for the year. If you would like to support me financially it would be greatly appreciated.
