Rachel Edwards
After 18 years of living in the seaside town of Seaham, Rachel moved to Manchester to study Mechanical Engineering.
During her 3 years at university, Rachel grew in her love of dance, musicals, hanging out with friends, and playing loud, competitive games (particularly on CU weekends away). Most importantly, Rachel grew in her love for Jesus and making him known to others.
After university, Rachel spent 2 years doing ministry training at church and then with her summer camp, Glod. She loved learning more about the Bible and how to share her knowledge, learning and excitement with others.
Rachel’s job with UCCF involves her getting alongside students in Manchester, particularly MMU and Salford and helping them as they seek to make Jesus known on campus. Rachel longs to see many lives changed by the amazing news that Jesus died and rose that we might be with God forever!
CU weekends away and city-wide missions weeks are some of Rachel’s highlights of the CU calendar and she is looking forward to seeing how many times she can use Hamilton as an analogy for the gospel.
