Catherine Torrens

Catherine hails from Northern Ireland but has been in Scotland for over 5 years, studying at St Andrews before moving to work with UCCF as a Relay Worker in Glasgow.

Although she became a Christian when she was much younger, it was during her time as a student that she began to understand more fully how transformative the gospel is for everyone and everything around her.

She gets really excited helping students in the Christian Unions at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Glasgow School of Art use their craft to point to their Father, and loves seeing them have a desire to introduce their friends to One who brings freedom from the relentless pressure to prove themselves to be “enough” through what they do.

As well as this she loves painting, pretending she’s a runner and telling everybody how beautiful Northern Ireland’s north coast is.
