Evita Dovlo
Evita is doing Relay in Guildford, supporting the Christian Union in the University of Surrey.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
Evita says...
Hi everyone! My name is Evita and I will be doing Relay this year with the University of Surrey Christian Union. I studied Biomedical Science at the University of Surrey and I am excited to serve God and students for the next academic year as a Relay Worker! I have been part of Surrey CU throughout my degree and I am looking forward to supporting new and existing students.
As a Relay, I am eager to encourage students (and myself!) to explore their faith, learn from God’s Word, and spread the gospel. CU has allowed me to grow in student mission and evangelism and I am excited to develop these skills more through UCCF and this role. I also cannot wait to see how God’s power and love will move!
I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and it would not be possible without prayer. Please do sign up for my prayer letters if able and/or pray in your hearts. 2 Thessalonians 3:1 says “As for other matters, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honoured, just as it was with you.” Finally, Relay is a voluntary role and I will be relying on the provision and generosity of the Lord, which includes financial support from those who give. I am aiming to raise approximately £12,500 for my living and ministry costs. If you feel called to give, your kindness will be deeply appreciated!

Pray for Evita
Prayer is a vital part of supporting Evita’s work with Christian Unions. Here are some prayer points from Evita:
- Pray for the Surrey CU, that their hearts would be on fire for God and that they have the boldness and courage to spread the gospel on campus.
- Pray for the students on campus, that God will soften their hearts to hear His Word and receive His love.
- Pray for me, that I lean on God and trust in Him throughout the year and know that He is my strength and shield!
