Tamsin Yuille

Tamsin is doing Relay in Oxford, supporting the Christian Union in the University of Oxford.

Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.

Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.

Tamsin says...

Hiya, I’m Tamsin! I’ve just finished studying History at the University of Cambridge, and I’m very excited to be moving to Oxford soon to work with the Christian Union there.

Being part of CU has been such a blessing during my time at university! I’ve loved the really deep friendships formed there and God has really grown my heart for evangelism through it. Thanks to being involved with the CU, for the first time in my life I felt equipped to share my faith with those around me and it was so encouraging being able to do that with others. University is a huge opportunity for evangelism, and I’m greatly looking forward to supporting students as they seek to share Jesus with those around them. Also, when I was in second year and leading a small group, I really benefitted from all the support my Relay Worker gave me; I’m really excited by the opportunity to support students in the same way.

Obviously, I need God’s help in all this, and I would really appreciate it if you would support me in prayer; by signing up to my prayer letter you’ll receive regular updates on how things are going and particularly what you can be praying for me and for Oxford CU. Also, Relay is a voluntary year, and I’m aiming to raise £13,000 to cover living and ministry costs over the course of the year. I’d greatly appreciate any financial support you can give!
