Mary Comont

Mary grew up in Devon and studied Geography at the University of Plymouth. Her expertise is in leading projects and initiatives which put people at the centre and guiding people through change within the non-profit sector. Mary gained her experience with a variety of Christian and mission-driven organisations including Tearfund and BMS World Mission, and joined us in 2024 as Director of People.

Mary's commitment to creating healthy cultures, which lay the foundations for people to thrive, grow and excel is complemented by her experience in charity governance. She serves on the board of Wycliffe Bible Translators and as the Oxford Branch Chair for Friends International. Mary is married, actively involved in her local church and can usually be found on a hockey pitch.
