Alban Smith-Adams
During his time at theological college in Durham, Alban got involved with Durham University’s Christian Union (CU). There, he discovered a vibrant community of like-minded students passionate about sharing the gospel and making Christ known on campus. He was inspired by the powerful impact that students can have for Christ in their university communities.
After completing his degree, Alban was eager to apply what he had learned and continue his work of sharing the gospel on campuses. The opportunity to support Christian Unions in London through UCCF was a perfect fit. Now, as a staff worker, Alban supports the CUs at University College London and the School of Oriental and African Studies.
Alban is passionate about seeing lives transformed as students grow in their knowledge of Christ. Whether he’s working with long-time believers or those who are hearing the gospel for the first time, he loves opening the Bible with students and praying for the Holy Spirit to work in their hearts. His vision is to see the Christian Unions he supports become increasingly faithful and fruitful in their witness, leading to lasting changes in the lives of those they reach.
