Philip Krause
Philip is doing Relay in London, supporting the Christian Unions in Imperial College London and Roehampton University.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
Philip says...
I will be doing Relay at Imperial College and Roehampton University where I'll be looking to do my best to support students reaching out to students who don't know God or what He's done on the cross. This is a vision that is close to my heart as that is how the Lord reached me, what a beautiful thing it is to see, and after being at Imperial CU during my Masters year I can say with confidence that it is that vision that drives every member of the CU there.
I'd greatly appreciate it if you could partner with me while I work with the CUs at Roehampton and Imperial. I'd love it if you could pray for me to not get side tracked on trivial matters but get to the heart of the Gospel in all my conversations. Also that I adapt well to this new stage in my life. If you decide to partner with me in prayer I'd also invite you to consider partnering with me further and supporting me financially during my ministry. So if you feel able and willing to support me, I'd greatly appreciate it. If you'd like regular updates on how/what I'm doing please do sign up for my Prayer Letters!
Pray for Philip
Prayer is a vital part of supporting Philip’s work with Christian Unions. Here are some prayer points from Philip:
- Please pray that in all my interactions I cling to the Cross and point to Him, as my hope, and not to anything else.
- Please pray for all the students at Imperial College and Roehampton University that may come to know about the God that cares for them deeply.
- Please pray that I can trust in God's provision more and more, and develop a dependance on Him to provide for my needs.
