Philly Chambers
Philippa moved to London to study Theology at Oak Hill Theological College having spent two years as a ministry trainee for students in Sheffield. Prior to that she studied Arabic and Spanish at Edinburgh University. She has had a fascination with cross-cultural mission from a young age, and it became clear to her that in the ‘super-diverse’, paradoxical city that is London, the need to cross barriers with the gospel is very great.
After graduating from Oak Hill College, Philippa worked in the Muslim community in East London with London City Mission; gaining some insight into the needs and challenges in the area which are relevant to the student population as well as the wider community. She is passionate about helping students from all walks of life and all faith backgrounds to be introduced to Jesus while at university.
Philippa is married to Chris and has two children.
