Mengmeng Su
Mengmeng is doing Relay in Guildford, supporting the Christian Union in the University of Surrey.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.

Hellooo, this is Mengmeng (pronounced like Mungmung)! I will be doing Relay in the Christian Union at the University of Surrey, based in Guildford.
I am very much looking forward to being back in Surrey, where I did my postgraduate in Interpreting (Chinese Pathway) last year. The CU's existence has been such a blessing to me since I came to the UK for university. Being an international student and starting a degree in my second language during a global pandemic was super challenging. But joining the CU and connecting with brothers and sisters in Christ helped me a lot with adapting, knowing that I am not alone. Having a trusted community sharing the same faith was SO crucial to my walk with the Lord at such an important turning point in life.
Therefore, I am extremely grateful and excited to serve and support uni students this year, alongside some discipleship training and theology study. I am excited by the unique opportunities you get in university evangelism in such a diverse and multicultural context to share the gospel with so many different people.
As Relay is a full-time voluntary role, I would love for you to support me prayerfully by signing up to my prayer letters and building partnerships with me to financially support my living and ministry costs, if you are willing and able. I am aiming to raise approximately £12,000 to cover my expenses. I would really appreciate ANY support to make this special year of ministry possible. - Please pray that God would be at the centre of my heart as I serve the CU and the students with love, joy, wisdom and compassion.
- Please pray that I would be able to support and work with the committee and student leaders with the in-depth knowledge of God day by day.
- Please pray for students at the University of Surrey to have open hearts and willingness to hear and respond to the gospel, especially as we reach the international students and students from a diverse cultural background.
