University is a time of great opportunities and challenges, as young people encounter new ideas and experiences that will shape the direction of their lives. As a student, the Lord graciously surrounded me with people who cherished the gospel, spurring me on to grow in my love for Him. Shortly afterwards, my work supporting vulnerable young adults with mental ill-health highlighted the desperate need amongst young people today for true and lasting hope. This hope can only be found in Christ.
God has been so kind to me, inviting me into a loving relationship with Him forever – and many more people still need to meet him! Therefore, I am so excited to be joining UCCF as a Staff Worker in Birmingham and Wolverhampton. It is such a privilege to be partnering with the Holy Spirit in what He is already doing through the CUs here as students are in a unique position to reach their campuses with the good news of Christ! In my role, I aim to build up CU members as disciples, firmly rooted in their faith, and to equip them to reflect God’s goodness. I cannot wait to hear how God extends His Kingdom through the lives of these students.
