Isabel Anderson
Isabel grew up in Leicestershire, with a firm faith in Jesus Christ from a young age. In 2021, she embarked upon a degree in English with Creative Writing at Loughborough University, where she quickly found her passion for student evangelism with the CU, finding a particular love for international student ministry. She also served as CU Vice-Chair in 2023-24.
Following her graduation in 2024, Isabel spent a year on the UCCF postgraduate Relay programme with Warwick University, before beginning her Staff Worker role in 2025. Isabel supports the three universities in Leicestershire: Loughborough, De Montfort and Leicester, coming alongside the CUs’ students and leaders to encourage them to grow in their faith and zeal for evangelism. She believes the central mission of Christian Unions is to reach out to bring Christ to the questioning hearts of Gen Z on university campuses.
When not meeting with students, you can find Isabel serving in various ways in her local home church, or reading and writing stories, with a desire to create fiction that will inspire young people to engage with the Gospel and the love of their Saviour.
