Junias Rasaily

Junias is doing Relay in Lanchester, supporting the Christian Union in Central Lancashire, University of (UCLAN).

Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.

Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.

Junias says...

I am thrilled to share that I will be serving as a Relay Worker for 10 months, starting at the end of August and continuing through July 2025. During this time, I will be working with the Christian Unions (CUs) at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and with international students at Lancaster University.

Relay is a unique opportunity dedicated to mission, discipleship, and training for graduates passionate about CUs. This program allows me to work on the frontline of student mission, helping others love and serve Jesus with their heart, mind, and hands.

I feel immensely blessed that the Lord has used me as a vessel to spread His living Word. This reminds me of his grace and nothing to do with my effort of good works. It is a great privilege to work with younger students and be a blessing to others. Although I am nervous about moving to a new city alone, I find comfort in Matthew 6:33 and Matthew 6:26, which remind me to seek His kingdom first and not to worry, for He cares for all His creations. This step is a profound lesson in depending on Him for everything.

So far, I am working towards raising £11,000 for this mission, and I am reaching out for your support and encouragement. Your financial contributions and prayers are essential to making this journey possible. Please pray that the Lord grants me steadfast faith, unwavering trust in Him, and the strength to face the unknown with love and grace. I also ask for your prayers for God's guidance throughout every step of this journey.
