Benedikta Bokedal
Benedikta is doing Relay in Aberdeen, supporting the Christian Union in the University of Aberdeen.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
Benedikta says...
Hi, I'm Bene and I am a Physics graduate of St Andrews University. I will be the Relay Worker for Aberdeen University from August 2023 to the following June. This will involve working alongside Aberdeen University's Christian Union to help give every student a chance to respond to the gospel.
In order to be a Relay Worker I have to fundraise at the very least £8000 pounds for the voluntary 10-month role. This money will be well spent as it will enable me to do full-time ministry and help me to live sacrificially and economically to share the gospel and to help others.
I would be grateful for any financial support people would be able to provide and would also be massively grateful for prayer.
Pray for Benedikta
Prayer is a vital part of supporting Benedikta’s work with Christian Unions. Here are some prayer points from Benedikta:
- That God would guide me in my thoughts and actions as I prepare for my role as a Relay worker
- That God would provide financially
- That God would help me in my own prayer and to rely on Him through this whole process. I am fully dependent on Him
