Rowan Logan

Originally from rural Angus, Rowan moved to Edinburgh to study Physics with Energy Science at Heriot Watt University. It was through friends she made there (who were from the CU) that she was able to explore the truths of Christianity for the first time. On reading Uncover John with her friends, she found the story of the woman at the well amazing and couldn’t believe that Jesus could answer the deep longing she had for fulfilment. She gave her life to Jesus not long after this, being blown away that He offered to set her free from her sin and give her a new life!

After becoming a Christian, Rowan found that her life plan had changed significantly and just wanted to tell people about Jesus! She threw herself into CU life, serving on committee and reading Uncover with her friends at uni. She then went on to serve as a Relay Worker for a year at Napier University, before becoming a ministry apprentice at St Columba’s Free Church of Scotland in Edinburgh. There she enjoyed deepening in her relationship with Jesus and learning more about what it means to serve Him with your whole life.

Rowan is married to Aaron, enjoys being in the kitchen but is happiest when in the sea.
