Rhian Muir

Rhian is doing Relay in Edinburgh, supporting the Christian Union in the University of Edinburgh.

Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.

Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.

Hello!

My name is Rhian Muir and I am from Torrance just outside Glasgow. I have just graduated from the University of Dundee studying illustration and hope one day to become a Christian children’s book illustrator.

The last 4 years in Dundee have been such an amazing time of growing in my faith and fellowship with many other Christian students. The Dundee Christian Union was a massive part of my spiritual journey and thinking back to first year I am so thankful for the relay worker who helped nurture my faith.

Having worked closely alongside the CU throughout my university experience I believe the outreach they do on campus is vital to sharing the gospel among fellow students.

I am so excited to be moving to the lovely city of Edinburgh to work with their CU, striving to give every student on campus the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.

We have such an incredible message of hope to share and I am so thankful for this next year providing time to learn more of the word, grow further in my own understanding and relationship with Christ, encourage other Christian’s in their journey and to help support the mission on campus.

Relay is a self funded year so if you would like to financially support me that would be I would be incredibly grateful.

Prayer will be a vital part of this year ahead so it would be greatly appreciated if you could partner with me in this way.
