Murray Dixon
Murray is doing Relay in Glasgow, supporting the Christian Unions in the University of Glasgow and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.

Hello! My name is Murray Dixon, and I am excited to be serving as a Relay Worker this year. I’m moving from Kilmarnock to Glasgow for this great opportunity.
Throughout my time in the Christian Union at the RCS I have seen God do amazing things by His grace: students responding to the gospel, CU members being equipped for evangelism and putting it into practice, and Christians being supported as they navigate university life. I grew in faith, devotion, and discipleship as my Staff and Relay Workers, and fellow CU members, poured into me with support, advice, and biblical truth. I am passionate about the importance of student evangelism, and have seen it change lives – including mine.
As a Relay Worker I am looking forward to studying more of the Bible, living by faith, supporting the Christian Unions, evangelising on campus, and being led by the Spirit into the first steps of full-time ministry. I pray God will use me to encourage students to keep their eyes on Jesus and help put into practice the vision to give every student an opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I will be dependent on God's provision in all aspects throughout the year. The prayerful support of believers cannot be overstated, and I would be so grateful if you pray for me and for the CUs. Additionally, as this role is voluntary, I aim to raise approximately £12,500 to cover living and ministry expenses. Your financial support, if you feel led to give, would be so appreciated.

- Pray that God would guide and strengthen me through moving away for the first time.
- Pray that God would give me wisdom in previously knowing one CU I'm working with and not the other - for an unbiased heart and mind towards both.
- Pray that God would use me in whatever way He wills this year, and that I wouldn't be a stumbling block to that.
