Eleanor Hahn
Eleanor is doing Relay in Sheffield, supporting the Christian Union in Sheffield Hallam University.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
Eleanor says...
Hiya! My name is Eleanor, and I am super excited to serve as a Relay Worker at Sheffield Hallam University this next academic year.
Throughout university, I have seen the work God has done through the CU, transforming the lives of students with the power of the gospel. Prior to university, I didn’t share my faith, but there I saw Christian students with passion and love for others that moved them to share Jesus. Since then, I have shared that same passion to engage in the Lord’s work and to make His name known among students.
I am excited to support the CU in all that they do and the students I will meet who are yet to discover Jesus. I pray that God empowers me to serve Him with grace and humility.
This year, I will be relying on the Lord’s provision, allowing me to trust in His goodness and grace, and the support of others (like you!). I would be incredibly grateful if you would pray for the work of Sheffield Hallam CU and my engagement with them by signing up for my prayer letters, where I'll share praise and prayer points. As Relay is voluntary, I am aiming to raise approximately £8,500 to cover my living and ministry expenses and so would be equally grateful if you’re able to support financially, if you feel led to do so. Your support is more than appreciated!

- That I will engage in the Lord's work to make His name known amongst all students, confidently evangelising to those who I meet, reflecting the love of Jesus.
- That the hearts of those who are yet to discover Jesus are prepared and softened to hear and respond to His goodness, grace and love.
- That the CU at Sheffield Hallam University are excited to serve others on campus and work to glorify God above all else.
