Naomi Brehm
While surviving a Physics degree at Durham, Naomi got a taste for the adventure of making Jesus known in a culture that is hungry for meaning and significance. She saw opportunities pop up in everyday conversations over dinner, learnt that even atheist friends were keen to study the Bible and saw thousands of students turn up to events to hear what Christians had to say.
After a year of training with OCCA The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics, Naomi returned to the glorious North East to work with the Christian Unions in Durham and Hartlepool. She's convinced that the existence of God makes the best sense of our human experience, that the gospel is both true and beautiful, and that everyone’s got to have ‘Decide what I think about Jesus’ on their bucket list.
University is a particularly good time to tick that one off, so she loves helping CU students get rooted in the Bible and risky in evangelism as they encourage their friends to consider Jesus for themselves. Her other loves include frosty winter sunrises, muddy forests and cold water swims.
