Anna Towers

Anna is doing Relay in Leeds, supporting the Christian Unions in the University of Huddersfield and Leeds Beckett University.

Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.

Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.

Anna says...

Hi, I'm Anna,

I am the Relay Worker for Leeds Beckett University and the University of Huddersfield CU. I am really excited to enable them to share the hope of Jesus with their fellow students.

Over the last three years, whilst studying English Literature at the University of Lincoln, I played an active role in CU, taking on the role of Evangelism Coordinator and, most recently, President. While on committee, I had the joy of seeing God at work on campus, with many students coming to faith and the CU multiplying in numbers. Seeing God transform the lives of students ignited a passion within me to help equip others to share their faith.

I see this as a really exciting opportunity, but I can only do this through God's strength, so I would be really appreciative of your support through prayer. I will be sending out updates and guided prayer points in a monthly newsletter. Also, if you are able, I am seeking financial support to make this year possible, which will go towards my living and ministry expenses. If you could prayerfully consider supporting me, I would be very grateful. Every little will help!

Please pray that I will grow in my love of God and experience more of his peace, so that I may be able to share that with others.
Please pray Leeds Beckett CU and Huddersfield CU will grow in their faith in Jesus enabling them to become more courageous in sharing their hope in him.
Please pray for the students on both these campuses that their hearts would be open and hungry to hear the gospel.
