Caitlin Macdonald
Caitlin is doing Relay in Glasgow, supporting the Christian Union in the University of Strathclyde.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
Caitlin says...
Hi! My name is Caitlin and this year I will be going to Glasgow to work alongside the CU at Strathclyde. I've just finished my studies at Edinburgh College doing Drama and am looking forward to experiencing a new city.
During my studies, I've moved cities twice and have found being part of the CU integral to finding friends and staying strong in my faith. It has been amazing to see Christ move in both of the CUs that I have been a member of and I cannot wait to see what he does in Strathclyde this year. I'm so excited to spend this year focusing on evangelism and spending time in God's word. I'm so grateful to be able to spend this year surrounded by students who have a passion for spreading the gospel and I pray that I will grow in my relationship with God as I study and that many students on campus will hear and respond to the Gospel.
This year is voluntary, so I would be so grateful if you would be willing to consider supporting me financially in order that I may cover the costs ministry and living. Of course, prayer is the most important thing so if you are able to pray for me and the students in Strathclyde I'd be very thankful. Please get in touch if you'd like to know more!
Pray for Caitlin
Prayer is a vital part of supporting Caitlin’s work with Christian Unions. Here are some prayer points from Caitlin:
- Please pray that I will keep my eyes fixed on the Lord over this year and that I will grow strong in my faith so that the Lord may use me for his will.
- Please pray I will fully rely on the Lord and his strength to provide for me over this year and that I may cast any anxieties I have on him.
- Please pray for the students at Strathclyde that those who know him would continue to grow strong in their faith and that those who don't would grow to build a relationship with him.
