Paul Kusuma
Paul is doing Relay in Leeds, supporting the Christian Union in the University of Leeds.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
Paul says...
I am both humbled and excited to serve as a Relay Worker at the University of Leeds, England. This is a new journey for me, one I trust God will guide and bless. My primary role will be forming and cultivating relationships with students on campus, bridging gaps, and fostering a closer relationship with Jesus.
In this endeavour, I look forward to not only guiding but also learning. I am eager to be mentored in ministry, and to grow my faith, knowledge, and willingness to serve those in need of Jesus. This opportunity is a testament to my belief that God provides exactly what is needed for us to serve His ministry. Even as I step into the unknown, I trust in God's providence. I believe He will equip me with everything necessary to carry out this ministry effectively. Yet, this journey is one that calls for collective effort.
I trust that with your support, God's hand will continue to guide me, providing the means to not only begin but also develop this journey over time. - Pray for personal spiritual growth and sanctification through this work. Ask that every encounter and challenge serves as a means to refine my character, leading me closer to God and enhancing my ability to serve Him and glorify His name.
- Pray for enriched learning opportunities and the influence of my mentors and colleagues. Seek God's provision in developing my ministry skills and meeting the financial needs of this mission, and pray that through dependence on Him alone, my faith, trust, and ability to serve in His name will flourish.
